If you are planning on doing NG+ and NG++, I recommend farming the greatsword-wielding soldiers in the Citadel for XP and to make them drop Peacemaker. Get your strength to 40 or higher. Also, you need to have at least one Flawless Luck rune. Once you get Peacemaker+Flawless Luck+40 STR, kill the final boss and start NG+.
